EA, Square Enix & Warner Brothers At E3 But No Disney Infinity?

Today, details were released on the biggest video game event of the year, E3, which takes place in Los Angeles on June 14th to the 16th.  A large number of companies have been listed as taking part in the event including Square Enix, EA, Bandai Namco and Warner Brothers, all of which have new Disney themed video games coming out this year.  And hopefully these or other companies will also announce some new Disney/Marvel/Star Wars themed games at the event.

Square Enix have many Kingdom Hearts games in development including the mobile Unchained X game plus Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts 3.

Warner Brothers will have their LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens video game being released shortly after E3, which is very likely to be heavily promoted at the event.

EA will also have a presence at the event, however they have announced they won’t be on the floor and running their own event nearby, they will be giving a presentation after the event and will be hosting private meetings at E3.  There will be a large amount of Star Wars Battlefront to be released later this year plus there EA are also working on other Star Wars video game projects including a new game from Visceral.

Bandai Namco also have Disney Magical World 2 set to come out soon in Western regions, as it has already been released in Japan.

However Disney Interactive haven’t been listed as a company involved this year, this could change closer to the event and with the upcoming “Disney Infinity Next” show coming up next week, this might help give us some details on if they will or won’t be at the event.  With rumours and speculation suggesting there isn’t a 4.0 being released this year, having a place on the E3 floor might not be needed.

Also Disney Interactive have been holding their own events outside the main conference, but at the moment, not being included on the list of companies might not represent what is happening.

If Disney Interactive isn’t at the event, there is still many other game developers at the event with Disney, Marvel and Star Wars projects coming out this year and are expected to be featured during the show and fingers crossed some new announcements on unknown video games could be made at the show as well.
