New Tax Rate Comes To DIsney’s All-Stars Resorts

Staying at the All-Stars Resorts in Walt Disney World will be more expensive from today as the tax rate will be increasing to 7.5%.  The reason is because these resorts fall within the Osceola County, whereas the rest of Disney World is within Orange County, which have a 6.5% tax rate.  This only effects room rates and not theme park tickets.

The new rate will apply to any reservations that are booked or modified after January 1st will be calculated with the new tax rate. However any bookings made before November 23rd 2016 will have the increased taxes applied when guests check-in.
