Disney Working On A New Tron Movie With Jared Leto

Tron could be heading back to our screens in a new reboot that is in very early stages of development, according to the Hollywood Reporter, Oscar Winning actor Jared Leto, is set to star in the the movie.

With the movie still in early stages, Disney haven’t yet hired a writer or filmmaker, they will have Tron: Legacy’s producer Justin Springer, onboard to produce.

Following the poor performance of Tomorrowland, Disney cancelled plans for Tron 3. Which the new movie would take some of the script from, where Leto would play a character named Ares, who has not appeared onscreen before, but was a key player in that script.
