Funko Disney Treasures Haunted Forest Box Review

For today’s review, I wanted to unbox last month’s Funko Disney Treasures subscription box, themed Villains…. I mean, Haunted Forest (you will see my rant in full in the video below). Check out the video and then join me for more pics.

So, I won’t got into length like I did in my video about my main issue with this box. I will simply say this:

This box is a Villains box with a sprinkling of Ghosts, not a proper Haunted Forest box… and barely containing Disney Parks items.

Okay, moving on from that, this box does have a lot of fun items. First up is the reason why this box sold out… the Maleficent in Dragon form Pop! Vinyl.

A beautiful Pop! Vinyl, Maleficent as a dragon is a 6″ Supersized Pop!. I love the detail on this piece.

Up next, is a new Dorbz, featuring the villain from 101 Dalmatians, Cruella De Vil.

While I don’t collect Dorbz much, Cruella is a fun villain, so I will be keeping her in my Funko collection.

The Mini for this box is the only part of the box directly from the theme parks, in this case specifically Disneyland. Here is the Hatbox Ghost in all of his creepy cuteness, along with the Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion themed tin.

Then there was a Nightmare Before Christmas themed Trick or Treat bag featuring Zero. Of course I did not snap a proper photo of it, but you can see it in the video above, if you didn’t see it already.

Lastly was the always included patch and pin, a staple for the Funko subscription boxes. This month’s patch featured the Magic Mirror from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, while the pin features Jafar from Aladdin.

Overall, is the value for this box there? Yes, most assuredly. It is no surprise that this box sold out, and it might be the strongest box released so far (the first release of Pirate’s Cove is up there as well). I just wish the theme of the box was reflected by more of the contents.

Thanks for joining me on this review, and stay tuned to DisKingdom.com for more reviews throughout the holiday season.
