Could A Tron Rollercoaster Be Coming To Disneyland Paris?

Following the success of the Tron Lightcycle Power Run rollercoaster in Shanghai Disneyland, Disney revealed at the D23 Expo that they would be building a version of the attraction in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom.

Now according to rumours from Looopings, a version of the ride could be also coming to Disneyland Paris as Dutch attraction builder Vekoma has been requested an offer to construct the coaster. Vekoma built the original coaster in Shanghai and will be building the new version in Walt Disney World.

Disneyland Paris has a few different coasters including Aerosmith, Space Mountain 2 and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, but this would be the first attraction built since Disney took over the park completely. And if this coaster was built, it could easily fit into Discoveryland in the main park or in Walt Disney Studios.

At the moment, this should be classed as a rumour and the coaster could be themed to a different franchise like Marvel or Star Wars. Plus the costs of building the coaster are much lower because the development costs have already been done for the original.
