Review: NBX Zero Deluxe Collection Doll (Box Lunch Exclusive)

For today’s review, I take a look at the Glow-in-the-Dark Box Lunch exclusive Zero from Diamond Select’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Deluxe Doll Collection. Limited to just 1,000, this piece features a special glow version of Zero, as well as his dog house (which he floats over). Our friends over at Diamond Select sent this over for us to take a closer look at. Let’s check it out.

As far as Zero is concerned, he is much less a doll than he is a major accessory piece for the Deluxe Doll Collection, being in scale with all of the dolls previously released. Molded out of plastic, there is no articulation to him. However, he is probably one of the more beautiful Zero sculpts I have seen made.

To justify the price point to go in line with the rest of the Deluxe Doll Collection, Zero comes with a beautiful recreation of his dog house. Using a display rod, Zero can float above it, or simply display next to it.

Overall, I think this is a great addition to Diamond Select’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Deluxe Doll Collection. I love how Diamond Select have branched out into more than just Jack and Sally (though they are wonderful dolls… and come featured in coffins!), including The Mayor, the Doctor, and Santa Claus. Looking forward to seeing who else will be released.
