Toy Fair Highlight: Entertainment Earth’s Wooden Collectibles

While at Toy Fair last month, I swung by the Entertainment Earth booth to check out the latest in some of their wooden collectible lines. While not much was new, there were a few things I wanted to share with you all.

Wittles

Debuting last year at SDCC, the Wittles line showcases Super-heroines in a cute, nesting doll style wooden design. They retail at $11.99.

Pin Mates

Originally debuting at Toy Fair 2016, the Pin Mates line has grown a lot, adding vehicles and play sets and accessories. Fun stand outs for me at this Toy Fair are the Howard the Duck Pin Mates (I LOVE seeing underrated characters being represented), which were released last summertime, and the upcoming Batmobile from the Classic TV Series.

Additionally, following their team-up with powerhouse Lin-Manuel Miranda with the Pin Mates of him and his dog, it looks like a set featuring characters from Miranda’s first Broadway Musical, In the Heights. Miranda starred as the title character Usnavi, surrounded by other Latin American/Hispanic characters in the Washington Heights on NYC. Considering In the Heights is one of my favorite musicals, I will definitely be getting this set once it is released.

Push Puppets

The last wooden collectible I wanted to highlight is the Push Puppets line, featuring a bunch of Marvel and DC Comics characters. A throwback to my childhood, these are very fun.
