Review: The Rocketeer Legends in 3 Dimensions 1/2 Scale Bust (Diamond Select)

Thirty years ago, Disney released a live-action movie that, although an initial disappointment at the box office, has developed a very dedicated fan base. Based off the comic book series of the same name, The Rocketeer is a superhero movie set in 1930s Los Angeles. The central character of the movie is Cliff Secord, a former stunt pilot turned unlikely hero after finding a wearable jet-pack. Back in 1991, The Rocketeer soared into movie theaters and into our hearts. Now thirty years later, companies have taken to releasing some great toys and collectibles harking back to this fun movie.

 

Today, I take a look at a release from the team at Diamond Select Toys, who sent this to me to check out. Here is the Legends in 3 Dimensions 1/2 Scale Bust.

This 1/2 Scale Bust is limited to just 1,000 pieces. Mine is hand numbered #0067.
