New Private Dining Experience in Secret Location at Disneyland

A brand new Dining Experience is being open to guests with parties of 12 per day called “21 Royal.”

I will save the price tag for last but let’s get into the details first.

The evening would begin with your party being greeted by trained guides at Disney’s Grand Californian hotel and spa who will lead you to 21 Royal Street. Where you will be taken to a private apartment overlooking new orleans square. Once you arrive a butler who is skilled and unobtrusive, with experience in real estate management and domestic service in private homes, will take you in via a gated and dazzling staircase which was to lead to what would have been Walt and Lillian’s private residence within the park.

Cocktail hour will begin, giving time for you and your guests to explore 21 Royal with your guides and sommelier Matt Ellingson tells the lore and history of the space. A seven course meal, which is tailored for everyone in your party, will have the chefs and Ellingson  introducing each course with a story that brings you into the inspiration of their lives and helps build the experience to create a memorable meal for all.

As your evening comes to a close, your party may enjoy coffee and desserts in the dining room or on the private balcony where you can possibly view the fireworks show as you relax.

The style of the apartment is based on plans realized by Dorothea Redmond, an imagineer who was also hollywood’s first female production designer(known for Gone with the Wind and Rear Window.) It was Redmond’s original watercolors storyboards that the Disney team used to create the 2 bedroom area.

Now for the price tag.

The cost for this royal experience with a minimum party of 12 is $15,000 including tax, gratuity, valet and park admission.
