Rainy Day for Two Disney Pop-Up Openings: Pittsburgh, Mississauga
There’s two different Disney pop-ups opening today in North American malls, and it’s a rainy day for each.
Near Pittsburgh is Ross Park Mall, a premium shopping centre from Simon Property Group. At 8:30 am, “kenzie.reads” posted video on TikTok of the outdoor lineup, ahead of the 10 am opening of the store. It appears to be dozens of people long already. “It started pouring,” Kenzie shares, with lots of umbrellas featured in the video.
The line is near Entrance 2, and extends towards the loading dock for JC Penney.

Up in Canada, Mississauga is just west of Toronto. Square One Shopping Centre is playing host today to the opening of a MINISO x Star Wars pop-up shop opening. There’s been no social media posts today, so far, though footage of the pop-up was posted yesterday by two TikTokers.
There’s no one obvious entry for the pop-up, being write in Centre Court, which is fortified by stores in all directions. (Entrance 1, near Earl’s Kitchen + Bar and TD Bank, is perhaps the closest option to Centre Court.)
