Three New Ambulances to Serve Walt Disney World
Central Florida Tourism Oversight District is expected to spend $1.6 million today, to purchase three new ambulances.
The CFTOD is the governing body over the land Walt Disney World is located within, and replaced the Reedy Creek Improvement District.
This news comes from the agenda of the Board of Supervisors Meeting for May 29, 2026:
Approve award of Contract #C007091 for the purchase of three (3) PL Custom medium duty Type I ambulances from South Florida Emergency Vehicles LLC utilizing the competitive pricing from Sourcewell Contract #122123-PLC and authorize the District Administrator to execute the purchase documents in the amount of $1,618,228.
The meeting will also authorize a replacement cooling pump for the Epcot Central Energy Plant, a facility hidden behind Test Track, among a number of other things.
