Newest Disney Store Opening Successful in Setagaya
Disney Store opened last Wednesday at Futako Tamagawa Rise Shopping Centre in Setagaya City, Tokyo. The store was busy opening day, TikTok user minitari240107 shared on her account, with locals looking to snatch up the limited edition merchandise specific to that store.
As previously reported on DisKingdom.com, the store is inspired by a sunset cloud, with magic mirrors where princesses appear, all surrounding a statue of Sorcerer Mickey.

Meanwhile, at all Disney Store locations in Japan, there’s a new promotion called Youth Disney Store. You can challenge an employee to a game of rock-paper-scissors to receive a limited edition card, while supplies last, and at most locations of the chain, you can pose for a selfie with a special “school lockers” backdrop. (The backdrop is not available at Yokohama Sogo store, Futako Tamagawa Rise SC store, Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza store, Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu store, or Disney FLAGSHIP TOKYO Japan Tour.)
