Australia: Disney Store Pop-Up Announced

Perth, Australia is getting a Disney Store pop-up, Destination Perth reports.

Opening this Saturday, April 18 at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City, it will continue until May 31. The City of Joondalup is a suburb of Perth, in the Western Australia state. Lakeside is the third largest shopping centre in the state.

According to the local tourist board:

Save the date for the official opening on Saturday 18th April, with spot prizing and free gifts for the first 50 people in line. The Pop-Up will be home to an exclusive, wonder-filled selection of covetable apparel, decor, toys and collectibles inspired by beloved stories, new and old.

New products are promised weekly, including pins.

The store will feature original plush from Disney Store Japan, meaning a surprising selection of characters like Bambi, Lucifer (the cat from Cinderella), and Perry the Platypus.

They also promise “extra special in-store celebrations” in relation to the 100th anniversary of Winnie the Pooh, and 40th anniversary of Pixar Animation Studios.

Westfield Chatswood, in Sydney, hosted the pop-up from February 7 to March 15. Prior to that was Westfield Bondi, January 25 to February 16.

On April 15, Disney Store Singapore teased a Pop-Up Experience at Great World, a six-storey shopping mall. No dates have been announced yet.
