Canada: Three More Toys”R”Us Locations Close

Amid the financial failings of Toys “R” Us Canada, a separate company from its American counterpart, three more locations of the store have recently closed.

The locations at Brampton, Kingston, and Vaughan Mills have all closed in the last few days, with more closures on the horizon.

Brampton opened in 1984, slightly later in the same morning that Canada’s first location in Thornhill opened. The lead picture for this article is the Brampton location just two weeks before closing.

Kingston’s liquidation started way back in January, when sale of the property was completed. Vaughan Mills’ location is set to become Canada’s first location of Greek discount retailer Jumbo.

Toys “R” Us’ final Quebec store closed in May, as did its location in Saskatoon, as DisKingdom previously reported.
