Frenzy Over Pixar Toys from Labubu Maker Pop Mart

Pixar’s new collaboration with the company behind Labubu is in high demand, it seems.

Labubu was unleashed on the world by China’s Pop Mart, which has spent the last few years expanding internationally, including 37 stores in the United States.

Another brand from the company is Dimoo, characters which vaguely look like vinyl anime versions of the Precious Moments porcelain figures.

United Kingdom: sold out in 36 seconds

The Dimoo World X Pixar toys are in incredibly popular demand, with the first batch online going in 36 seconds, and the next drop in just nine seconds. This YouTuber shares about the drip feeding online by the company, leaving fans glued to Discord for updates:

 

The Philippines: entire pop-up store

Dimoo World X Pixar Pop-up Store is “the Philippines’ first Dimoo-themed Pop Mart store,” according to national broadcaster ABS-CBN. It’s located at Glorietta by Ayala Malls, a complex Wikipedia describes as “maze-like,” with 550+ stores over five connected buildings.
