Philippines: Spider-Man Experience Today, More Disney Store News

There’s a lot going on in The Philippines, courtesy of the extremely active SM Group, which runs Disney Store in the country, as well as a group of malls, and SM Cinema.

Since July 21, SM Mall of Asia has featured the Spider-Man: World of Webs immersive experience. It comes ahead of the Columbia Pictures release Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which will debut in The Philippines July 29, two days before the wide release in North America. Because it’s not a Disney release, the experience makes no direct references to the feature.

Spider-Man will be making an appearance at the mall today, at 2 and 4 pm. For every ₱1,500 you spend at the experience, you get one entry into a three-night cruise for three on the Disney Adventure.

This follows both a pop-up themed to The Mandalorian and Grogu and to the live action Moana, the latter running July 4 to 15.

Pop-up visits the Visayas

SM City Bacolod is getting a Disney Store by SM pop-up for the first time, August 1 to 31. It’ll be on the ground level of the north wing. The megamall has over 300 stores.

Hong Kong Disneyland Contest

Spend ₱5,000 or more at Disney Store in The Philippines before September 30, and you’ll be entered to win a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland for four.

Disney Fine Art added

Local stores have been expanding into products from Disney Fine Art, with cards and prints from Utah artist Heather Edwards.
