Canada: Toys”R”Us Down to 8, as Lethbridge Closes, Preps for Spirit Halloween
A week ago today, Toys”R”Us had 13 locations. By the end of that weekend, it was reduced to ten, and by mid-week, nine.
Between our last publication, Thursday at roughly 6:30 am Eastern, and today, Saturday just after 9 am, the chain has removed Lethbridge from its website.
The store stayed open longer than many, given that the company owned the land and building. The listing remains live as of publishing, suggesting it remains on the market at $14 million. It’s just opposite the enclosed Park Place Mall.
Spirit Halloween is scheduled to open in the unit this month, August, according to the store’s website.
According to the real estate listing, the building was built in 1992.
