New LEGO Disney Minifigure Series Coming in May

Today, our friends over at LEGO have announced that a new Disney Minifigure Series will be coming out in May. Following up to their popular 2016 release of Series 1, Series 2 builds on the excitement of seeing some of the popular Disney and Pixar characters in LEGO Minifigure form. Let’s check them out.

The full series includes:

• Disney classics including:  Vintage Mickey, Vintage Minnie, Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Chip and Dale
• Disney movie favorites: Jasmine and Jafar from Aladdin™, Anna and Elsa from Frozen™, Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas™, and Hercules and Hades from Hercules™
• The Incredibles™ favorites: Edna Mode and Frozone

Available May 1^st, the collectible Disney minifigures will be sold in toy stores, shop.LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores nationwide for $3.99 each.

Vintage Mickey and Minnie look similar to the Minifigures that will be coming with the Steamboat Willie build set that will be coming out in April.

I, for one, am very excited with this upcoming set. I was able to collect all of the Minifigures from Series 1, and hope to with this set without too much difficulty. Factor in the release of the Steamboat Willie build set and all of the releases for Toy Story 4, and this is a great year to be a Disney LEGO fan.
