Review: Funko x Disney Treasures Dumbo Box (Hot Topic)
Today, I take a look at the contents of the Dumbo themed Disney Treasures box. Containing exclusive Funko merchandise, this collector’s box was exclusive to Hot Topic stores here in the US and released earlier this year around the time that the live action movie of Dumbo hit movie theaters.
Firt off, let me say how happy I am that the box looks to be themed to the animated movie and not the live action, which I wouldn’t be into. That being said, let’s check out what’s under the Big Top!
Baby Dumbo Pop! Vinyl
In a rare occurrence, Baby Dumbo comes in a horizontal Pop! box. Look at those cute big ears!
I love this Pop! Vinyl. It’s quite cute and from a pivotal part in the movie.
Timothy Mouse Mini with Tin
I think this is the best part of this box. I love it when the mini comes in a tin and not a box. This tin features the circus train, Casey Jr., along with some of the crows and circus animals.
Circus Dumbo Pocket Pop! Keychain
While I wish this Pocket Pop! could stand better on its’ own (I usually remove them from the keychain part and display them), this is a cute design of Circus Dumbo. Who knows, it might end up dangling from my rear view mirror or something.
Dumbo Pop! Pen, Coin Purse, and Pin
These three collectibles are great additions to the box. I will be using the coin purse when I go to the Disney Parks to keep track of my pin trades and stamped penny collection.
Overall, this was a great purchase. I don’t think there were any duds in this box, unlike a bunch of the other Disney Treasures boxes, both when it was a subscription service and now as a Hot Topic exclusive series.
