Disney+ Announces Its Fan Expo Canada Themes

Disney has announced the themes to its booths this year, at Canada’s largest pop culture event, Fan Expo Canada. Percy Jackson, Alien: Earth, Tron: Ares, and series like Hannah Montana all will be featured, with the best of experiences brought in from San Diego Comic Con.

Fan Expo Canada runs from August 21 to 24 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto.

Tron Lightcycle

The Invasion is here! Don’t miss your chance to ride the TRON Lightcycle and race through iconic Canadian cityscapes. Create a shareable photo or video revealing the hidden “GRID”, slowly taking over the streets behind you, and don’t forget to see Tron: Ares only in theatres, October 10.

This seems to be a new experience, in the fact it plays off Canadian-specific locations.

Disney+ Throwback Experience

Explore the Disney+ Throwback Experience with totally rad elements from the best of the ’90s & 2000s. Then leave those decades behind as you enter the highly classified wreckage site of the USCSS Maginot from Alien: Earth and see through the mist at the Percy Jackson Experience.

The promotional graphics for the Throwback Experience show the East High Wildcats logo of High School Musical, a microphone with the “H” from Hannah Montana, a Suite Life of Zach and Cody shield shape, as well as a mix tape. Perhaps we’re getting a portion of the Disney+ Throwback Experience that previously came to Los Angeles, as reported on WhatsOnDisneyPlus.com?
