New Jersey’s New Disney Store to Open August

After extensive closures in 2020 and 2021 shuttered all but a few Disney Store Outlet locations and the flagship in New York City, it seemed like that might be all for Disney Store in the United States. But in April, it was announced that the same company that rebooted standalone Toys “R” Us locations was now planning to open Disney Store Limited Time.

Go! Retail’s first location at Ross Park Mall location near Pittsburgh was met with massive lineups on its opening weekend, a virtual queue running out of spaces just four minutes after it opened. Go! also operates Calendars.com, Go! Toys & Games, and Attic Salt stores.

While their website still only lists two locations, with “more stores coming soon,” that second location is finally inching closer.

Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey will open at some point next month. A job listing for part time sales associates was posted by Go! Retail on July 23.

The location will stay open until “early January 2027.”

The Pennsylvania location is also hiring at the moment, unfortunately listing early January as its own closing date. Hopefully the format won’t be entirely seasonal, limited to a few months a year, more Toys “R” Us and less Calendars.com, but it seems like the parent company hasn’t yet committed.
