How Will Spider-Man Come Into Play in Civil War?

A distinct lack of any kind of mention of Spider-Man in any of the publicity for Captain America: Civil War, has caused the fans to question exactly how he will be portrayed and exactly how much screen time he will get.

But as part of an interview with Empire Magazine, we have a bit more clarification on both fronts.

Explaining when Spidey first appears in the film, Joe Russo confirmed that he will make his first appearance after the beginning of the main conflict and that at least initially will side with one character, thought to be Tony Stark, who is rumoured to be the person who upgrades Peter’s technology and suit later in the movie, which would follow the same story line from the comic books.
