British Royals Visit Star Wars Set at Pinewood Studios

Last week, British Royals Prince William and Prince Harry had the opportunity to get a private tour of the set of the Star Wars set. The set is located at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire.

This included a private tour by Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey in “The Force Awakens”, getting to play with lightsabers and even meeting some special droids from a galaxy far, far away.

The Duke of Cambridge is president of BAFTA and the princes visited the set to recognize the wealth of British talent in the production of the Star Wars Films. They also were visiting to highlight the extensive opportunities, facilities and talent in the UK film industry today.

It was also reported that Prince Harry and Prince William were given cameo roles as stormtroopers in the filming for Episode 8.
