Ex Disney World Employee Steals 112K over 2 years

A former part time Disney World employee was accused on stealing about $112,000 from cash registers while working as a Magic Kingdom Restaurant Hostess.

Katie Marie Miller, 29, was booked into the Orange County Jail for Grand Theft, Scheme to Defraud and False Statements.

She is currently being held on a $61,100 bond. Miller admitted to investigators that she started taking money to help pay for bills but it became an addiction. She also stated she did not realize how much money she had actually stolen from the company until financial analysts confronted her.

A warrant for her arrest was issued 2 months ago but she was arrested last month in Hopedale, Mass. and brought to Orlando earlier this week.
