Ghost Rider Coming To Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

While we reported on this last month, it was confirmed by Marvel at the San Diego Comic Con that Ghost Rider will be heading to the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D this coming fall.

It’s interesting to see Marvel position Ghost Rider in this series, rather than establishing the character in its own series on Netflix, which would allow a more darker approach to the character.  Ghost Rider has previously appeared on screen in two movies, starring Nicholas Cage as Johnny Blaze, though the series will see Gabriel Luna play the character, Robbie Reyes.   With Magic being explored in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie, adding a supernatural anti-hero to the show does sound very exciting.
